1: Benxi Water Cave
Benxi Water Cave Scenic Area is located in the eastern suburbs of Benxi City, Liaoning Province, China. It is only 28 km from Benxi downtown, is the longest underground water-filled caves found in the world so far. The water cave contains the world's longest underground river at 5.8 kilometers. Of this, only 2.8 kilometers are accessible by boat. Benxi Water Cave Scenic Area was opened to public in 1983, being a national key scenic spot. It is consists of Water Care, Spring Temple, Water Ditch, Guanshan Mountain, Tiesha and Miaohou Hill six scenic spots, distributing along Taizi River. This scenic spot covers a total area of 42.2 square kilometers, of which water cave covers a area of 36,000 square meters with a total length of 2,300 meters. The scenic area take water cave as the main watching point, combining hills, rivers, caves, springs, lakes and ancient cultural sites as a whole.



2: Mukden Palace
Palace is former Imperial Palace for Qing Dynasty. It is first built in 1625 for Nurhachi, and inherited by his son Abahai (Huang Taiji). Mukden Palace is one of two royal complexes existent in China today. It features the splendid and distinctly ethnic Manchu architectural style. There are Dazheng (Grand Politics) Hall, Shiwang (Ten Princes) Pavilion, Chongzheng (Golden Chimes) Hall, Fenghuang (Phoenix) Chamber and Qingning (Pure Tranquility) Pavilion. All of them are still in perfect shape.


3: Zhao Mausoleum
The Zhao Mausoleum is situated amongst the expansive greens and lakes of Beiling Park, near the Shenyang Imperial Palace. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Zhao Mausoleum is one of Shenyang's most popular historic and cultural attractions. Commissioned by the first Qing emperor Abahai, also known as Huang Taiji, the tombs feature masterful artistry combining Manchu and Chinese architectural elements. Wandering through the mausoleum's grand palaces and pavilions, visitors will find a number of decorated archways, ornamental columns, cloud or Pailou pillars and statues of animals much loved and idolized in ancient China such as elephants, camels, lions and the mythical qilin and unicorns.


4: Shenyang Expo Garden
The International Horticulture Expo Garden is a scenic attraction in the Shenyang Qipanshan international tourist zone. The garden is a sweet destination for nature lovers who wish to explore the flora of Shenyang province. The garden is a lavish spread of 246 hectare with over 50 domestic gardens and 10 royal plots. The International Horticulture Expo Garden has 24 Fair Parks reserved for exhibition. The park can be toured using bicycles and golf carts. Promoted as a World Park by the China Flower Association, the park has over 6 million tulip specimens and 650 different varieties of flowers. The park has food courts, flower trading spots, cafes and bars with pavilions, amphitheatre and recreational centres.

5: Zhang’s Residence Museum
Zhang’s Residence Museum was built up on the country’s key culture relic protection site——Zhang’s Residence site. It is the mansion and private house of the head of state of the last reign of Beiyang government, warlord of Fengxi school, Zhang Zuolin, and his eldest son, the great patriot, Zhang Xueliang, when they dominated the administration of northeast China. It covers an area of 53,000 square meters in total, and the area of structure takes up 35,000 square meters. It is the most well preserved former residences of celebrities with the largest scale. It is also a four-A rated state tourism attraction.




6: Tiger Beach Ocean Park
Situated in the central part of the southern seashore of Dalian City, the Tiger Beach Ocean Park (Laohutan Ocean Park) is the biggest modern lido in China with a total area of 1,180,000 square meters (about 291 acres) and a coastline of more than 4,000 meters (about 13,123 feet). In the Park, many attractive natural sceneries and magnificent man-made sights can be seen, especially the Tigers Sculpture Square and Tiger Beach Polar Region Marine Animals World. As a modern ocean park, Tiger Beach Ocean Park is one specializing in tourism, recreation, shopping and so on and is regarded as the Dalian people's favorite park.



7: The Yalu River
The Yalu River used to be called Ba Water, and was given the present name in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) for its crystal-clear water and winding its way in the shape of a duck head. It lies between China and North Korea as a boundary river, starting from Baitou Mountain, the highest peak of Changbai Mountains on the border of the two countries in the southeast of Jilin Province in China and running southwestward into the sea at Donggou County in Dandong City of Liaoning Province. It runs for 795 kilometers, and covers an area of about 400 square kilometers.




8: Kim il-sung Squarek
Kim Il-sung Square is a large city square in the Central District of Pyongyang, North Korea,and is named after the country's founding leader, Kim Il-sung. The square was constructed in 1954 according to a master plan for reconstructing the capital after the destruction of the Korean War. It was opened in August 1954.The square is located on the foot of the Namsan Hill,west bank of the Taedong River, directly opposite the Juche Tower on the other side of the river. It is the 37th largest square in the world, having an area of about 75,000 square meters (807,293 square feet) which can accommodate a rally of more than 100,000 people.The square has a great cultural significance, as it is a common gathering place for rallies, dances and military parades and is often featured in media concerning the DPRK.
